Warranty Terms
Disclaimer

About the warranty period

  1. After you buy the machine and other related products, the warranty period from the date of your receipt of the goods.
  2. If the product is beyond the warranty period, you may purchase additional services to receive support.
  3. Unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or tampering will void the warranty.

Maintenance condition

Based on specific conditions, we will repair or replace parts of the product. However, the following cases are not covered under the free warranty:

  1. Beyond the warranty period.
  2. Damage caused by improper use of the user (such as falling, crushing, liquid spills, violent use, etc.).
  3. Use of non-original parts resulting in product failure.
  4. Man-made damage not related to product quality.
  5. Unauthorized modifications or disassembly.
  6. Improper installation, use, or operation against the manual guidelines.
  7. Self-repair or part replacement without official guidance.
  8. Circuit modification, improper use of battery packs, chargers not following the official guidelines.
  9. Operation in harsh environments (e.g., strong interference, rain, dust, wetlands, complex terrains).
  10. Damage from operation on uneven terrains.
  11. Damage from operation on slippery surfaces (ice, glass).
  12. Damage caused by falls in in complex environments.
  13. Damage caused by collisions or accidents in complex environments.
  14. Damage due to interference with other wireless devices (e.g., WiFi interference, electromagnetic interference).
  15. Damage from overloading the robot beyond its weight capacity.
  16. Excessive force or misuse beyond the robot’s resistance limits.
  17. Power supply by non-original battery packs.
  18. When used in conjunction with the third party products compatibility and reliability problems cause damage.
  19. Forced operation when components are aged or damaged.
  20. Damage due to low battery or use of faulty battery packs.
  21. Failure to ship the item for repair within the agreed timeframe after confirming warranty service.
  22. Surface damage caused by collisions or falls, evident scratches, or marks.
  23. Infiltration of dust, sand, water, or metal particles into the robot’s interior.
  24. Use in humid environments causing visible water stains or corrosion on components.
  25. Development mode misuse, such as programming the robot with your own code leading to collisions or falls, resulting in damage. Including: for example, in high-level development, using the users’s own vision system to control the movement of the robot, resulting in damage caused by the robot hitting sharp objects or falling from a height; in low-level development, controlling motor to hit the joint limit or producing high-speed vibration in the motors, resulting in damage.

Other conditions

  1. When sending products to us for warranty, you must first bear the shipping costs.
  2. After receiving the product, will be to test the product to determine the problem and responsibility. If the product is found to have a quality defect, we will cover the inspection, material, labor, and shipping costs.
  3. If the product is not eligible for free repair, you may choose paid repair or have the original machine returned at your expense.
  4. For out-of-warranty repairs, costs will be charged for inspection, parts, labor, and shipping, based on the issue.
  5. Repairing the product may result in data loss, so please back up your data in advance.
  6. Do not send back severely damaged battery packs. If returned, these battery packs will be scrapped without refund.

Booster Robotics will have the final right to explain the warranty terms.
